Garden Arbor

The arbor that I created was starting to fill in which was so exciting. I didn’t know if any of it was going to grow like I wanted. I planted green beans up one side and two different types of cantaloupe up the other side, Hearts of Gold and Charentais which were amazing. These are the size of a large softball and really sweet. The only negative thing with the melons this year is due to the heavy rains we kept having, it caused a lot of splitting and I had to cut a few prematurely. I will definatley grow them again. Here you can see that through the arbor the back boxes are starting to bloom. The first box through the arbor is a Dahlia box with the sunshine mix with some white dahlias Im not sure of the name) and also I planted some orange lime and salmon zinnias through this box. Near the edge of this one I also threw in some Indian Prince Calendula. I also put some dahlias that I started from seed in this box.
